Indeed, the Mediterranean’s largest island, is also Italy’s largest province, the land is indeed a clever, fascinating natural scenery and human landscape is the harmonious blending together, Naturally ancient times people have lived here for the evidence: once lived here, Greeks, Romans, Byzantines, Arabs, Normans, Schwaben I, the Spanish, whose culture already confirmed here.

God created Sicily. The place where the mountains meet the sea. Sicilia, the island in the sun, is home to Heavenly beaches, majestic mountains and Europe’s greatest natural wonder, Mount Etna. Sicily’s coasts are gold with orange and lemon orchards. Each scenic region offers something different. Natural beauty. In northeastern Sicily’s Nebrodi Mountains you’ll find unexpectedly lush forests. In the central regions you’ll encounter rugged land and rolling hills. Dignified vineyards, ancient olive groves, hardy almond orchards and endless wheat fields complete the picture. Among the Mediterranean, Italy, rich in olive oil (OliveOil), wine, and cheese; hundreds of years ago from Central and South America to introduce the coffee and tomato enriched people’s diet. Italian people seem particularly fond of pasta: pizza (Pizza), pasta (Pasta), and the bread variety. Simple materials create a variety of Italian food culture.
Italian bruschetta restaurant is very tempting: to cut into half-inch thick slice of bread on the hot charcoal fire or oven baked golden brown, with the open side of the garlic evenly rub again, painted olive oil, sprinkle salt and pepper, then covered with crushed tomatoes. Golden bread combined with red tomatoes, very enjoyable. If you prefer, you can sprinkle of freshly made cheese powder (ParmesanCheese), and chopped green spices, like basil (Basil), Parsley (Parsley) and so on.

The city boasts an ancient history which was at its most splendid during the era of the Marine Republic. For tourists, Pisa is a treasure chest full of surprises; from the bright Lungarni quays walled by noble buildings, to the web of narrow, medieval alleys leading to the famous Piazza dei Miracoli. Home of Galileo Galilei, Pisa is today an important university city and offers a lively student lifestyle.

Pisa is best known for the world famous Leaning Tower, but those who come here with their mind already made up that the Tower is the only thing to see may miss the rest of the architectural and artistic marvels of this beautiful city.

The half hour walk from the Campo dei Miracoli to the train station runs through a pedestrian street with many interesting sights, shops, and restaurants. The best way to visit Pisa is walking the streets, as the city center is very small, and enjoys the sight and the atmosphere.

Pisa would not be Pisa without the University. The city is animated by the students, who organize parties, shows, and cultural events, and fill the central street of the city at night. The University of Pisa has 60,000 students in a city of about 100,000 inhabitants. You’ll notice the student flair in the city once you leave the touristy campo dei miracoli.

Pisa is a safe city; you do not need to worry about your safety (except for some zone at night, such as the area surrounding the station). However you should take the obvious precautions (like, if you stay in a very cheap hotel, take your valuables with you) and watch out for pickpockets in the touristy areas.
