How can I make him get a clue?

(I am really desperate for this guy to like me. We are a grade apart (im in 9th and hes in 8th) ,but we are the same age. I met him cuz hes the older brother of my best friend from dance. I have gone to the movies and out ot smoothies with him as “just friends”, but I am dying to be more. He has had past girlfriends because every girl is in love with him, but I am so part his best friend that is a girl. He is an amazing guitar player in a band with a passion for music. My friend who is his sisters age (gonig into 7th) told me that he told her that he liked me, but when I asked him if that was true, he said and I quote “I like you as just a friend, not cuz you’re not great but because I can’t focus on a relationship right now. I’m to into my music.” But whenever I go over to his house to hang with his sister, he is always looking at me with his big brown eyes like he is in love with me. He always gives me mixed signals because sometimes he will text me nonstop and sometimes he won’t answer my texts for a couple days. I always go to his gigs cuz he invites me to them and is always looking at me and smiles when he is playing the guitar. He always tries to get close to me. I really am in love with him and I think he is with me, but just doesn’t know it. One time when it was just me and his mom (she doesn’t know i like him) and we started talking about him and his music and she mentioned that he doesn’t like anyone cuz of his music. Can you please give me ways to help him get a clue and have him ask me out for real?????? PLEASE I AM BEGGING YOU!

It sounds like he really likes you, but actually is really in to his music and wont be able to go through possible heartbreak, or a relationship. He may be afraid that if he asks you out you will say no (happens all the time). If that’s what it is then try flirting with him, but NOT!! over the top, or you’ll come across as needy or pushy. If he really doesn’t like you then still flirt with him in a friendly way like maybe when he says something laugh like you mean it, compliment him, and when ever you can touch him (not inappropriately, just like a pat on the back or some sorta handshake? Also always try to look your best around him, but don’t forget to be yourself. If he still doesn’t like you because of his music, try to talk to him about his new songs, their meanings, and other things about his music and his band(guys like it when you show interest in them). This may convince himself to think you will be good for his career in music. This may let his real feeling for you to show. Also if you really like him flirting but NOT to much will be easier and make the way he may or eventually feel for you more real. This MAY make you relationship last longer.
